Where did 2007 go?

Seriously.. It is almost the end of the year and I can't remember where any of it went. It seems it faded away amongst all the partying and working. And is that all I have to show for 2007? On to other news. I'm going to San Diego in 2 weeks to see my brother graduate from the Marine Corps boot camp! I am so proud of him =] He shot at EXPERT level and got a metal for it.. it also puts him in a different class.



This will be Eric is 2 weeks!! I read that you aren't allowed to walk on the parade deck in honor of all the marines who have gone through boot camp.. I'm nervous.. I hope they have signs marking it! I do NOT want to make that mistake!

It's been a while..

Since Oct 9th a lot has happened! We have moved.. Halloween went by... We went to the Renaissance Festival.. We are thinking of getting the rabbit a girlfriend for Christmas.. Thanksgiving is coming up.. Franklin got a new job and I am on the hunt for one as well.. And we FINALLY got the Internet hooked up at home!

I was complaining in my last post about having to move. But, it was for the better! Now that we live inside the loop we are closer to everything! Rice Village, The Galleria, Downtown, Greenway Plaza & The Museum District.. oh can't leave out Montrose! I love it!



Halloween was a blast!! We celebrated the weekend before and Wed. as well. I was some kind of elf/angel thing.. Who knows.. I just wanted the ears and the wings! Franklin was Steve Irwin the dead croc hunter! So creative! His costume was a year in the making.. he was going to do it last year but Steve Irwin had only been dead for a few weeks..






The Renaissance Festival! Who doesn't love that little journey? We were on a mission to get drunk and have a good time! Successful!







Tuna's girlfriend prospect.. Her name is Petunia.. Obviously.. we are changing her name to some type of food. Franklin wants to name her grits.. good lord. Pray for her.

I want a vacation

Why Utah? Why not? Franklin thought I was nuts when I said I wanted to go to Utah on vacation. Canyons are pretty amazing. Maybe I'm just being selfish and thinking of it from a photographer's perspective. I can't stop thinking of all the awesome pictures I would take and how the light would hit everything. Hiking through canyons is a far cry from relaxing on the beach. I think it would be beautiful though. We might not get to drink as much as we would like.. I've heard most of Utah is dry. Gosh dang Mormons!

Could moving suck more than a broken jaw?

Possibly. This morning I found out what I have been dreading for a long time now. We have to move! First of all, I love my apartment, I love my neighbors, I love my pool and I even love my parking spot. Second, moving is a pain. And to top it ALL off. We have to move in 7 days, change our driver's licenses, re-route of mail, transfer our electricity, oh and FIND an apartment. Life is fun.

The day I decided to give this guy a chance and make out with him in the back seat so my drunk "gay" friend could see us in the rear view mirror. I did it out of spite but I don't regret it. Oh yeah, and that "gay" friend.. turned out to be "bi" and liked me. SPITE! HA! In yo face!
